What is IB Program?

The International Baccalaureate (IB) program is a globally recognized educational system designed to develop students' intellectual, personal, emotional, and social skills for a rapidly globalizing world. The IB offers three educational programs: 
Primary Years Program (PYP) for ages 3-12 
Middle Years Program (MYP) for ages 11-16 
Diploma Program (DP) for ages 16-19 
The program emphasizes a well-rounded education with a focus on critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and academic excellence. We offer both IB DP and IB MYP courses to cater to students at various stages.

IB Language and Literature

Course Overview: The IB Language and Literature courses focus on developing students’ reading, writing, and analytical skills through the study of a wide range of texts in both their native language and additional languages. Key topics include: Textual Analysis: Students will analyze and interpret literary works, including novels, short stories, plays, and poetry, considering cultural, historical, and linguistic contexts.
Creative and Analytical Writing: Students develop their writing abilities, focusing on argumentation, creativity, and academic writing. The course encourages the use of clear, coherent language.
 Oral Communication: A significant focus is placed on improving public speaking and discussion skills, including presentations and group discussions. 
Language Acquisition: In addition to the primary language, students may study additional languages, learning to read, write, and communicate in those languages.
For All Levels: The course is available for students at both the MYP and IB DP levels, tailored to the stage of the student.

IB Mathematics

Course Overview: The IB Mathematics program offers courses that cater to a wide range of mathematical interests and abilities, from fundamental concepts to advanced theory and applications. Key courses include: 
Mathematical Studies SL: This course focuses on practical applications of mathematics for students who are not pursuing math-heavy university programs. Topics include statistics, probability, financial mathematics, and basic calculus. 
Mathematics SL: A more rigorous course that covers a broader spectrum of topics, including algebra, functions, calculus, and statistics. Students who choose this course may be preparing for university studies in fields such as economics, business, and engineering. 
Mathematics HL: The higher-level (HL) course dives into more complex mathematical topics such as advanced calculus, differential equations, and abstract algebra. It is designed for students pursuing mathematics or science-based university programs. 
Further Mathematics HL: This is an additional HL-level course for students who are especially interested in mathematics, offering topics such as linear algebra, matrices, and advanced calculus.

IB Sciences

Course Overview: The IB Science courses foster inquiry and practical investigation, preparing students for university-level science programs. Each subject develops an understanding of key scientific principles and their applications. Courses include: 
Biology SL/HL: A study of living organisms and their interactions with the environment. Topics include genetics, evolution, physiology, and ecology. 
Chemistry SL/HL: An exploration of chemical reactions, atomic structure, and the periodic table. HL students engage in more advanced topics such as organic chemistry and thermodynamics. 
Physics SL/HL: Focuses on the principles of physics, including mechanics, electricity, magnetism, and waves. HL students delve deeper into topics such as quantum physics and particle physics.
